But in order for us to celebrate great successes with them, the bikes first have to be developed—and that’s where you come in. As a Development Engineer for Engine Applications in Off-Road Motorsports, you will be responsible for the further development, maintenance, and optimization of the electronic engine components used by our race drivers. You will also independently organize tests on the test bench as well as in the field, and support our racing team with data recording and EMS.
THE TASKS AWAITING YOU
- Application of electronic engine management systems to race cars
- Preparation of test motorcycles and maintenance of fuel injection components on race cars
- Calibration of hardware components of the overall system
- Independent planning of experiments and tests on test benches and in field tests
- Overseeing data recording systems on vehicles and the EMS during field tests
- Independent software development in collaboration with our development partner
HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US
- Successfully completed technical training in mechanical engineering (HTL/FH)
- Advanced knowledge of thermodynamics is desirable
- Very good English skills and experience with test bench software (AVL) are a plus
- Active involvement in motorcycling or a strong passion for off-road motorsports
- An open-minded and flexible personality with a high level of commitment and team spirit
- An independent and solution-oriented work style, as well as strong technical understanding
